Equality, Archie-Style!

3 Nov

As reported here earlier, Archie Comics is blazing the way by introducing Riverdale’s first openly-gay character, Kevin Keller.

While many assumed the character would just come and go and never really take a major part in the Riverdale shenanigans, it seems Kevin is getting his own storyline. In 2011, thanks to his first appearance in Veronica selling out, Kevin will be getting his very own Archie mini-series. According to Queersighted, Archie creator, Dan Parent will be drawing it.

Thanks Archie Comics for helping kids realize they’re not alone. Can’t wait to see what happens!
